POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Supply Chain Program Lead – Cooling will work with Category Management and Strategic Sourcing to develop, then lead the Supply Chain organization in executing the Supply Chain strategy required to support the company’s growth in the data center cooling market.
The role will establish a scalable, competitive, and resilient supply chain for pumps, hydraulic systems, and associated components used in data center cooling applications.
Working cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Product Management, and Commercial Teams, the Program Lead will ensure the supply chain meets required cost, capacity, quality, lead time, and delivery performance in all the defined strategic projects.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Support developing the end-to-end Supply Chain strategy and cost reduction initiatives for the Cooling business.
Establish, with the Supplier Business Leads and Pricing, should-cost and target-cost models.
Identify opportunities with cross-functional leaders for supplier consolidation, design standardization, make vs buy optimization, or volume leverage.
Track material cost performance against program business cases.
Work with the Supplier Business Lead and Strategic Sourcing to translate market growth projections and customer requirements into capacity, sourcing, and supplier strategies.
Identify supply-chain risks, constraints, and opportunities and establish mitigation plans. Based on these risks, work with Strategic Sourcing to define the required supply-chain footprint across regions & develop scalable supply-chain models that can support significant volume growth.
Identify cross-functional capacity bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans.
Coordinate with Strategic Sourcing on supplier capacity expansion and capital-investment requirements.
Ensure Strategic Sourcing is aware and prepared for rapid increases in demand.
Represent Supply Chain in new product development and launch programs, establishing supply-chain requirements from the early design phase and ensuring supplier readiness.
Ensure Design for Supply Chain / Design for Cost / Design for Manufacturing principles are incorporated.
Coordinate FPAP and production ramp-up activities where applicable.
Operate in full compliance with all Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.

PREFERED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain
Experience in industrial equipment, pumps, rotating equipment, hydraulics, HVAC or similar engineered products.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, global supply-chain programs.
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Excellent analytical, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with senior executives, cross-functional leaders, and global suppliers.
Knowledge of the supply base within the BU area of operation (products/markets etc).
Understanding of market dynamics.
Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain
Strong analytical skills, which involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
Certified Supply Chain Professional
Geographically mobile for development opportunities
