Teradyne is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to be onsite at the Island Penang contract manufacturing site in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia. In this role, you will work with the Marketing specialist to understand customer needs and support requests, focusing on delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Marketing to understand customer needs and support requests, ensuring a result-oriented approach.
- Analyze customer change order requests, assess available-to-promise (ATP) calculations, evaluate trade-off proposals, and run simulations with the contract manufacturer to provide the best delivery commitments in a timely manner.
- Calculate and implement a demand variance buffer model to position an independent forecast that supports customer changes within the drop window.
- Monitor and address issues that may impact on-time delivery, such as gating shortages, demand drops, quality issues, and related ECO impacts.
- Be responsible for ECOs and deviation reviews and approvals.
- Perform ATP calculations and commitments for LTB parts.
- Ensure paperwork is completed on time to guarantee slots for on-time launching and shipping (CORC).
