The Global Operations Strategy team sits at the center of Dell Technologies' supply chain transformation agenda. The team drives high-impact modernization initiatives across the six core workstreams that define how Dell's global supply chain operates, encompassing sourcing, demand and inventory planning, order fulfillment, product lifecycle management, risk and regulatory compliance, and quality. By combining deep operational understanding, strategic thinking, and emerging technology perspectives (including AI and agentic capabilities), the team translates Dell's modernization vision into actionable capability roadmaps, architecture decisions, and execution plans across multiple end-to-end workstreams.

We are seeking a sharp, analytically strong Senior Advisor to join our Supply Chain Modernization Strategy team within the Global Operations Strategy organization in Taipei, Taiwan.

What you'll achieve:

In this role, you will provide hands-on analytical and strategy support for Dell's supply chain modernization program: a large-scale, multi-workstream transformation spanning the full supply chain lifecycle. You will help build the analytical foundations that drive decision-making: structuring problems, conducting analyses, synthesizing findings into clear deliverables, and supporting senior leaders in shaping capability roadmaps and prioritization decisions. You will work closely with workstream leads, business SMEs, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, identify insights, and ensure modernization initiatives are grounded in operational reality and tied to measurable business outcomes such as revenue enablement, customer experience, productivity, and operational resilience.

This role is designed to develop high-potential talent toward broader strategic and operational roles within Dell.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Build analytical foundations for modernization strategy by conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses across supply chain workstreams, identifying gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities that inform capability prioritization and roadmap decisions
• Support problem structuring by helping senior team members and workstream leads break down ambiguous, cross-functional challenges into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and workplans
• Develop high-quality deliverables including presentations, business cases, capability blueprints, process maps, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and executive audiences
• Gather and synthesize inputs from stakeholder interviews, workshops, current-state assessments, and operational data to surface insights that drive modernization design choices
• Support cross-functional coordination across supply chain planning, factory operations, logistics, engineering, and technology teams — helping identify and document interdependencies between workstreams
• Assist with transition planning from legacy to future-state systems, helping document dependencies, risks, and business continuity requirements as modernization progresses
• Research AI and agentic technology applications within the supply chain context, helping the team assess where intelligent automation, predictive capabilities, and decision-support tools can drive the greatest impact
• Contribute to competitive and industry research on supply chain technology trends and best practices to inform modernization priorities

• Essential Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in an analytically rigorous environment such as management consulting, Big Four advisory, investment banking, venture capital, or a comparable strategy / operations role in industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, build analytical frameworks, and develop data-driven insights

• Strong storytelling skills, including the ability to structure complex operational findings into clear, logical narratives for senior audiences

• Experience working in cross-functional, multi-geography team environments

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field) from a reputable university is a plus

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in Mandarin is a plus

• Desirable Requirements

• Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, manufacturing, logistics, and order fulfillment processes

• Exposure to large-scale transformation programs, including supply chain modernization, system transitions, or technology-enabled process redesign

• Basic understanding of AI, agentic systems, or intelligent automation concepts and interest in their application in operational contexts
