Job title: Supply Chain (Implementation) Consultant
About the Role As a supply chain consultant at OMP, you equip customers with supply chain planning solutions and help optimize planning processes from design to go-live. You work in an international, customer-driven environment delivering high-quality implementations and ongoing support across the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Find clever planning solutions in collaboration with solution architects to ensure an impeccable, high-quality implementation.
- Implement the solution from start to finish, together with the customer’s project team.
- Provide expertise during and after implementation.
- Train customers so they get the most of their solution.
- Document implemented solutions by providing technical descriptions to fellow consultants and functional notes to the customer.
- Although you’ll be visiting customers regularly (about 20% of your time), you won’t be outsourced; you remain part of our team of experts.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical skills, preferably with a Master’s degree specializing in Production Management, Logistics, or similar.
- Strong affinity for IT and willingness to learn an entirely new software package.
- Basic programming skills.
- Flexible to travel.
- Fluent in English.
- Passion for working in a multinational, customer-driven environment.
- Friendly and open attitude.
- A born team player.
- Soft skills: Communicative, Team player, Collaborative in a global context, Pragmatic, Passionate.
- Hard skills: Analytical skills, Supply chain planning knowledge, Basic programming skills.
- Language skills: Required: English; Plus: Dutch, French, German, Spanish.
