Supply Chain Engineering Specialist

About the Role As a full-time Supply Chain Engineering Specialist in Bangalore, you’ll design and optimize end-to-end logistics processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability. You will work with cross-functional teams (Regional Logistics Engineering, Material Planning, Project Supply Chain Leaders, Warehouse and ERP) and with external partners to shape the future of mobility. You’ll specifically take care of warehouse layout design, capacity analysis, and lean flow mapping, while driving cross-functional supply chain leadership initiatives. What You'll Do

• Perform warehouse capacity analysis, storage definition, and end-to-end logistics flow mapping (inbound, storage, picking, and loading).
• Design unloading/loading plans, including docks, MHEs, forklift paths, staging areas, and more.
• Plan and implement storage systems such as HD racks, ASRS, mezzanines, consumable rooms, and FG storage.
• Define picking zones, bin planning, and MHE-based picking strategies.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs for operational activities, including PFEP, lifting plans, kitting, and inventory management.
• Develop line-feeding flow concepts, mirror-zone calculations, and designing line-feeding trolleys to support production.
• Create and implement safety measures, visual labels, and PPE storage plans in compliance with EHS standards.
• Provide training for operators and warehouse teams.
• Drive cost-reduction, process-improvement, and optimization initiatives to foster continuous improvement. What We're Looking For
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of warehouse layout design, logistics flow mapping, and lean workflows.
• Knowledge of storage systems such as HD racks, ASRS, and mezzanines.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes, including line feeding and production support.
• A Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Nice to Have
