About the Role The Supply Chain Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing end-to-end supply chain strategies across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution networks. This role leads a high-performing team and partners with executive leadership to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support HydroGraph's growth. What You'll Do
- Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives; Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team across multiple functions; Collaborate with executive leadership to forecast demand, plan capacity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives; Establish KPIs and metrics to measure supply chain effectiveness
- Operations Management: Oversee procurement, vendor management, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations; Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and reliability; Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels with working capital; Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Process Improvement & Technology: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs; Drive adoption of supply chain technologies, automation, and data analytics tools; Lead digital transformation initiatives including ERP, WMS, and supply chain planning software
- Risk Management & Problem Solving: Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions; Resolve complex supply chain issues affecting production, customer satisfaction, or financial performance; Monitor market trends, geopolitical factors, and industry changes that may impact operations What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 6+ years of progressive supply chain experience with at least 2 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site supply chain operations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities Nice to Have
- Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management)
- Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- International supply chain experience and knowledge of global trade regulations
