Job title: Supply Chain Coordinator
About the Role The Supply Chain Coordinator in CFAO Mobility division based in South Africa supports order processing, stock control, and customer/export communications to drive department effectiveness and proactive issue resolution. You will ensure accurate sales/purchase orders in SAP, maintain pricing accuracy, monitor inventory, and coordinate shipments while building strong customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Raise accurate Sales Orders and Purchase Orders in SAP and maintain FIFO for Goods Receipts (Order Balance).
- Ensure orders are processed to export countries within required timing and pricing is up to date for invoicing within lead-time.
- Monitor daily inventory levels and contribute to reducing aged/obsolete stock (PIPELINE Management).
- Dispatch stock within agreed terms; address invoice queries within the month; provide variance calculations to management.
- Minimise risk exposure from air and hand carry shipments; maintain customer information, contacts database, and order files.
- Communicate with customers to understand needs and build strong partnerships; assist with action plans if customer satisfaction is below target.
- Handle customer complaints related to your area of responsibility.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and share information for order balance (weekly).
- Comply with SOPs; ensure SAP processing is up to date for Orders and Pricing.
- Identify operational issues and track them with management to resolve quickly; submit Kaizen ideas for efficiencies.
- Gather information and report urgent shipments and priority support needs from TTC-Exp; report irregular operations immediately to management.
- Process and check Customer Orders for accuracy, fluctuations, and submission timing per TTC-Exp deadlines.
- Ensure alignment with Employment Equity Plan for all appointments.
What We're Looking For
- Matric; 3-5 years related experience; relevant tertiary degree advantageous.
- Computer literacy: Intermediate MS Office; SAP experience.
- Analytical Thinking, Detail Orientation, Decision Making, Planning and Organising, Results Orientation, Business Acumen, Communication Skills, Customer Centric Focus, Teamwork, Problem Solving. You are trained on data up to October 2023.
