Supply Chain Analyst

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support planning, logistics, and operational coordination for a manufacturing environment in Branchburg, New Jersey. This contract position with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can turn supply chain data into practical decisions that improve material flow, forecast accuracy, and production readiness. The role works across planning and operations teams to strengthen day-to-day execution while supporting broader supply chain performance.

Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain and logistics data to identify trends, resolve inefficiencies, and support informed operational decisions.
  • Build and maintain demand forecasts that align inventory levels, customer needs, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate production planning activities to help ensure materials and schedules support manufacturing requirements.
  • Monitor global supply chain activity and help address risks related to supply availability, lead times, and shipment performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, reporting accuracy, and overall supply chain execution.
  • Track key performance indicators and prepare insights that support service, cost, and inventory objectives.
  • Review inventory positions and recommend actions to reduce shortages, excess stock, and planning gaps.
  • Support logistics planning and material movement to promote timely delivery and efficient supply chain operations.

Supply Chain Analyst Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain analysis within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Working knowledge of logistics, supply planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Ability to develop forecasts and translate demand signals into actionable planning recommendations.
  • Familiarity with production planning principles and inventory management practices.
  • Understanding of global supply chain considerations, including lead times, sourcing, and transportation impacts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data effectively.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple functional teams.
