About the Role The Supply-Chain Admin/Customer Service Desk Officer 1 supports field operations by ensuring requests (SRs) are processed accurately and promptly. The role also communicates order status and coordinates with logistics colleagues and purchasers to secure timely delivery. What You'll Do
- Receive, upload, and process Supply Requests (SR) in JDE ERP and related STM systems, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Liaise with stakeholders, clarifying item codes and sourcing with purchasers; adjust item codes as needed and inform customers.
- Forward SRs to WHS or other logistics sources and follow up until shipment arrival; manage SRs through staging and lead-time confirmation.
- Track scheduled pick dates and promised delivery dates based on sourcing, and ensure SRs are ready for processing.
- Review SRs for accuracy with customers before approval; maintain tracking documentation and close files.
- Monitor upstream orders for lead time and arrival estimates; keep customers updated on status.
- Manage orders until all lines are dispatched and delivered; follow organizational workflows and thresholds for internal requests.
- Ensure the JDE Orders Follow Up table is accurate; coordinate with other units to maintain data integrity; provide daily reports of issues to the logistician.
- Regularly update requesters on order status and deadlines. What We're Looking For
- University degree or technical degree in logistics, administration or equivalent, with 3-5 years of overall professional experience; 3 years in administration or supply chain/logistics.
- Proficiency in English and local working language; strong computer literacy and MS Office skills; familiarity with ERP software (JDE) is an asset; knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Strong motivation to work in humanitarian settings and ability to operate in a field environment. Nice to Have
