Job title: Supplier Quality Manager

About the Role

Full responsibility for KPIs in the managed area and leading quality development for main local suppliers, in coordination with purchasing to define scope.

What You'll Do

• Own KPIs in the assigned quality area and drive improvements to meet targets.
• Take personal responsibility for quality development of main local suppliers (defined with purchasing manager).
• Lead escalation management for quality issues from external and intracompany suppliers, focusing on immediate improvement, root-cause elimination, and charge-backs of linked costs.
• Collaborate with East European Purchasing Centre (EPC) to identify potential suppliers in Southeastern Europe.
• Audit suppliers according to VDA 6.3.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Engineering.
• Experience in the automotive industry and in quality management; previous similar role is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 family; IATF 16949; VDA 6.3; Auditor certificate is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of automotive core tools and methods (MSA, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, Control Plan); customer-specific requirements; process management and process-oriented approach; documentation of a Management System; quality planning; supplier management; customer satisfaction and complaint management; quality management system concepts; evaluation and improvement of a QMS; measurement and controlling of processes with KPIs; continuous improvement; root cause analysis (5-Why, Ishikawa).
• Excellent communication skills in Bulgarian and English.
• Computer skills: MS Office; SAP experience is welcome.
• General technical overview; ability to read drawings; willingness to learn new technologies.
• Flexible, willing to travel and prepared for short-term work abroad.

• Auditor certificate is a strong advantage.
• Praxis in SAP usage is welcome.
