Job title: Supplier Quality Manager
About the Role The Supplier Quality Manager leads all supplier-related quality activities at ANDRITZ Foshan, including supplier audits, qualification, SQA/SQC and continuous improvement, to ensure successful outcomes for customers and projects.
What You'll Do
- Take overall responsibility for all quality issues related to suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits and qualification
- Lead SQA and SQC, project quality management and target implementation in supplier workshops
- Perform root cause analysis of supplier quality complaints and drive continuous improvement (RCA and problem solving)
- Develop suppliers and drive supplier quality improvements
- Own digital tools related to supplier quality
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical background with Bachelor degree or above
- 8+ years’ experience as quality manager or above in heavy industry
- Rich experience in welding, machining, NDT, material, heat treatment and surface treatment
- Knowledge of related technical and quality requirements in these processes
- Familiar with supplier quality management and improvement
- Familiar with problem solving tools (such as 8D, A3)
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects for supplier quality is a plus
- Familiar with supplier audits and supplier qualification
- Experience leading a team of over 20 members
- Able to work under pressure
- Good logical thinking ability; systemic problem solving
- Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented and outstanding work ethic
- Good English communication skills (listening and speaking)
Nice to Have
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects for supplier quality is a plus
