Job title: Supplier Quality Engineering Manager (LRA, or Switch, or PCB Focus)
About the Role Logitech is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager focused on LRA, Switch, or PCB/FPC to act as the technical gatekeeper for component quality and a cross-functional project driver to deliver concrete quality results across suppliers.
What You'll Do
- Lead supplier driving & closed-loop management for critical components (LRA, PCB, or Switch); review and challenge supplier 8D reports and Failure Analysis (FA); drive root-cause analysis and effective preventive actions.
- Act as the central bridge between Procurement, R&D, and Manufacturing; balance technical specs, cost, and manufacturability; resolve conflicts to align internal standards with supplier capabilities.
- Conduct deep-dive on-site audits focusing on supplier process capability (CPK), fixture precision, and actual manufacturing parameters; establish and optimize supplier performance evaluation mechanisms.
- Manage and approve critical SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification) and coordinate engineering validation for 2nd source qualifications, ensuring zero risk during transitions.
- Mentor and enable the SQE team; standardize departmental procedures; build preventive "fire prevention" workflows rather than relying on firefighting.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields.
- Professional Background: 8+ years in Supplier Quality, NPI, or Process Engineering within large manufacturing companies; solid understanding of LRA manufacturing processes, or PCB/FPC/SMT, or switch processes; ability to independently evaluate supplier technical analyses.
- Management & Communication: Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and track record of managing complex quality projects; ability to exert pressure on and motivate underperforming suppliers.
- Quality Systems & Tools: Proficiency in QMS standards and process audit standards; mastery of APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D.
- Language & Travel: Fluent in English and Chinese; willingness to travel to supplier sites.
