About the Role
Supplier Quality Engineer at Mattel Vietnam Company Ltd will be responsible for developing, qualifying and monitoring supplier quality management systems and conducting readiness assessments for new regulatory, legislative or sustainability initiatives. You will partner with suppliers to drive problem solving, root-cause analysis and preventive actions, and ensure quality KPIs are tracked and acted upon.
What You'll Do
- Develop, qualify and monitor suppliers' quality management systems, and support readiness assessments for new regulatory or sustainability requirements.
- Assist or lead supplier problem solving and root cause investigations for preventive actions.
- Track and review supplier quality KPIs to determine prompt actions.
- Provide training to suppliers on Mattel procedures and requirements, and monitor the implementation of procedural enhancements.
- What We're Looking For
- University or Technical College graduate with major in industrial or related engineering disciplines.
- 2-3 years of work experience preferred; experience in toy/household product/consumer goods/injection molding/plastic is an advantage.
- Good communication in English; ability to speak basic Mandarin is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of QMS and manufacturing processes.
- Strong presentation, decisive and negotiation skills; creativity and innovative thinking.
- Frequent local travel is required; occasionally stay at supplier factories for a couple days to weeks.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Nice to Have
- Experience in toy industry, household products, consumer goods, injection molding or plastics.
- Mandarin language ability.
- Willingness to travel and stay near supplier facilities as needed.

- Salary: pay range indicated as VND 0 - 0 monthly (base pay determined by location, skills and experience).
