As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for Mechanical Auxiliary Systems of our gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators, you will be responsible for supplier qualification, development, and implementing quality assurance measures. You will be supporting Siemens Energies growing Power Plant Project Business and be a part of our global Supply Chain network. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a multicultural, global environment and contribute to the overall supply chain excellence. In this role, you will leverage digitalization tools, manage supplier nonconformances, conduct containment and root cause analysis (RCA), and drive preventive and risk mitigation actions.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for regular project execution to ensure compliance with specification. Perform source, virtual, or desk inspections for components and systems in your scope.

Support supplier qualification activities by assessing supplier capabilities and auditing their quality management systems and processes.
-Drive product and process qualification (PPQ) activities and approve supplier manufacturing processes via Manufacturing Quality Control Plans.
-Coordinate supplier nonconformance management and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
-Monitor supplier KPIs and adjust quality, inspection, and development plans accordingly.
-Facilitate or support supplier qualification and development review meetings, ensuring timelines are on track and risks are proactively identified.
-Work with multiple Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and structured documentation.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in a technical role within Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Supplier Quality, or similar domains.
