Supplier Quality Auditor - Your future position?

As the Supplier Quality Auditor with Givaudan, you will in relation to the overall objective of the function to assure raw material quality is guaranteed at source so that products comply with all applicable quality, product safety and customer requirements you will work with limited supervision supporting the execution of the Global Supplier Quality Management Strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure Quality Management System documentation is generated, maintained, stored and archived in compliance with company internal Procedures.
• Responsible for the on-going collection of Supplier Qualification metrics and reporting monthly and quarterly progress reports e.g. Vendor audits and CAPA status, High Risk Vendors, New Ingredient Introduction (NII), Alternate Vendor Approval Process progress (AVAP), Quality Info Records (QIR), versus agreed targets.
• Responsible for the monthly reporting of Z1 non-conformance data (material complaints), showing the trends and high-risk materials/vendors versus targets.
• Responsible for quarterly reporting of incomplete Z1 non-conformance data (material complaints) to identify compliance.
• Responsible for quarterly reporting of the stock re-inspection process to show compliance
• Make visible KPI's, risks and compliance violations with dynamic risk matrix (Power BI)
• Personally complete approximately 20 on-site/virtual audits plus complete all F&B paper audits
• Liaise with Lead auditors to facilitate the follow-up of Vendor audit tasks, closure of audit actions to agreed timescales and audit document filing as needed
• Complete and Monitor Supplier Quality Specialist steps for qualification activities e.g. AVAP and NII, within the agreed lead-time
• Complete Vendor Quality Approval for Legacy QIR Creation Compliance and prepare the QIR Creation Report quarterly to manage compliance
• Monitor and Maintain material risk assessments and gaps
• Lead the reduction in the number of materials missing an ingredient risk class
• Deliver classroom training to auditors in vendor audit principles and processes to plan, perform, lead and follow up vendor audits
• Lead vendor improvement projects
• Lead the cleansing of procurement data to close gaps
• Support the Supplier Quality Specialist in follow up and completion of Z1 non-conformance notifications

Your professional profile includes:

Academic Background

• Vocational Diploma in an appropriate technical field.
• University degree preferred
• Local language with English as an additional language preferred

Professional Experience

• Overall work experience of 3+ years.
• 1 to 2 years of auditing experience preferred.
• CI Green Belt level and problem solving

Technical Skills

• Can demonstrate an ability to influence change, form effective relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of the principles and application of Quality Management Systems e.g. ISO 9001, Good Manufacturing Practices e.g. EFfCI and continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of business processes in Operations, and requirements for manufacturing, quality control testing and distribution facilities.
• Experience with using computer-based Management Systems and applications such as Microsoft Office.
