• The Supplier Quality Account Leader (SQAL) is responsible for ensuring the quality compliance of components, materials, products, and services provided by assigned suppliers. The SQAL also drives supplier quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supplier lifecycle. Acting as the primary quality representative between BD and its suppliers, the SQAL serves as the key point of contact for all supplier-related quality matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance indicators (SCARs, non-conformities, customer complaints, etc.).

• Identify quality trends, gaps, and risks, and define appropriate corrective and preventive action plans.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and supplier development projects.

• Support suppliers in enhancing their quality maturity and managing change control activities.

• Serve as the primary point of contact during supplier quality issues or crisis situations.

• Lead critical investigations, perform root cause analyses, and ensure the effective implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) plans.

• Profile Required

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Specialization in Quality Assurance or Materials Science is considered an advantage.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Project Management, or Operational Quality within an industrial environment.

• Experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries.

• Strong knowledge of supplier quality processes, root cause analysis, CAPA management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Compensation

• Compensation Range €48,000 to €58,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall profile.
