Supplier Management Specialist / Asst/Product Manager

About the Role The Supplier Management Specialist/Asst/Product Manager will lead supplier relationships and strategic initiatives to optimize Avnet's financial performance across assigned product lines. This role partners with cross-functional teams to maximize supplier value and drive long-term collaboration. What You'll Do

• Direct and manage the supplier business plan and implementation process across the organization, leveraging supplier strengths and resources and communicating supplier benefits to the company.
• Align supplier goals and objectives with company objectives to achieve mutual success.
• Determine, monitor and recommend plans for the supplier–company relationship on tactical and strategic levels.
• Participate in supplier business reviews, provide data, and engage in issue resolution.
• Identify and pursue new supplier opportunities, emphasizing the development of new services that blend supplier capabilities with service to create a unique value proposition.
• Support cross-functional communication with product groups in price negotiations and market knowledge.
• Manage activities and programs that drive the supplier’s pro-forma performance to achieve Avnet's financial goals.
• Perform analysis and reporting of program impact for the supplier.
• Manage forecasting pipeline requirements and rebate projections.
