Suppervision Control Center (SCC) Integration Engineer

About the Role Join Alstom in Toronto as a full-time SCC Integration Engineer. You will apply technical integration expertise to develop and support the SCC system (subsystems such as SCADA, ATS, MS, Data Center Infrastructure), collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain integration platforms, automate analysis, and ensure data and infrastructure are integrated, verified, and traceable. What You'll Do

• Execute integration tasks per Alstom V-cycle.
• Integrate, verify, and troubleshoot software/system data and infrastructure.
• Identify and report integration issues; manage change requests with the SCC System Team.
• Maintain integration platforms, configuration control, and track performance KPIs.
• Develop or enhance automation tools for integration and analysis.
• Stay updated on project changes and synchronize within the SCC Project.
• Attend team meetings and provide clear status updates.
• Actively participate as a collaborative team member, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Manage weekly and weekend on-call responsibilities as per team planning. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science.
• 7-10 years of experience in a similar field.
• Experience integrating Railway ATS, complex, or IT systems is advantageous.
• Fluent English with effective communication/presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, documentation, and proactive work ethic.
• Proven ability to keep detailed records of troubleshooting steps and outcomes, ensuring traceability during high-pressure situations.
• Proven ability to work well as part of a team, fostering open communication and mutual support to achieve integration goals.
• Knowledge of databases (MS SQL), OPC-UA, Windows OS (configuration, settings, and security).
• Experience with Python, scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch), source control (GitLab), DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform), and virtualization (VMware). Nice to Have
• Familiarity with security standards for rail signalling and related regulatory frameworks. Compensation & Benefits
• CAD 90,000 – 125,000 per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
