Your Role on Our Team

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading daily production activities, ensuring team members operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role drives operational performance through employee development, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while fostering Milwaukee Tool's culture and leadership principles.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrates safety first mindset; follows all safety related processes and procedures, quickly escalates safety related concerns or issues to create a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Plan and direct daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
  • Monitor labor utilization, staffing levels, attendance, and overall workforce performance.
  • Provide timely coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Conduct shift-start meetings and communicate key business, safety, quality, and production updates.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Utilize production metrics and KPIs to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Support employee training, cross-training, and succession planning efforts.
  • Investigate production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment aligned with 6S standards.
  • Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Ability to work overtime or adjust schedules as business needs require.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.

  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English

  • Previous assembly and/or molding experience.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.

  • Experience utilizing production metrics and data to drive performance.

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (Oracle, Kronos, MES, or related software preferred).

  • Speed, Agility & Urgency- Respond quickly to operational challenges while maintaining production flow and customer commitments.

  • User Focused, Solution Driven- Prioritize quality, productivity, and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional results.

  • Extreme Ownership- Take accountability for team performance, safety, and operational outcomes.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequently walk and stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Regularly travel throughout the manufacturing floor.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, machinery, and production environments.
  • Employees are required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
