iHerb is hiring a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations (outbound) for its logistics center in Elgin, IL. This is a full-time, in-person role supervising a high-volume outbound B2C small-parcel environment, coordinating picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment for same-day domestic and international shipping via expedited carriers.
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling and coordinating departmental activities to meet sales orders and inventory requirements; issuing instructions and standardizing procedures to improve team efficiency; maintaining a safe and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policy; managing team member performance including counseling/write-ups; improving inventory accuracy; planning labor needs; training new team members; and coordinating with other departments (inventory management, quality assurance) to resolve product/fulfillment issues. The supervisor is also expected to control costs, drive productivity, and manage workflow against departmental productivity standards.
Requirements: 3-5 years of warehouse experience in an automated environment, excellent organizational, managerial and communication skills, ability to work extended hours and weekends, proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Office, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience). The role involves standing, walking, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 60 lbs in a warehouse setting.
The expected salary range for this role is $65,000 USD, with actual pay depending on experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity.
