About the Role As a supervisor at Volvo Trucks Gent, you coach and develop a team of approximately 50 operators to coordinate production safely and efficiently. You work within a Lean Manufacturing environment focused on quality, safety and the environment, contributing to the on-going improvement of the production process and final trucks. What You'll Do
- Coach and guide a team of around 50 operators, together with team leaders
- Coordinate and organize production activities in a structured and efficient manner
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, ergonomics and environmental guidelines
- Encourage team members to propose improvements and give them autonomy with support
- Develop the team through coaching and training to achieve defined targets
- Collaborate with other supervisors to share best practices and seek advice as needed What We're Looking For

- Hands-on, flexible, and comfortable with daily new challenges
- More important than a technical background: willingness to learn, a people-centered leadership style, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Dutch and good knowledge of English
