Job title: Supervisor, Pharmacovigilance
About the Role ICON is seeking a Supervisor, Pharmacovigilance to oversee safety monitoring and reporting of adverse events for clinical trials and marketed products. You will lead pharmacovigilance activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality safety reporting. This hybrid role supports operations in Bulgaria or the United Kingdom.
What You'll Do
- Supervise day-to-day pharmacovigilance safety reporting operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and regulatory affairs, to optimize pharmacovigilance processes.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal SOPs for safety reporting.
- Manage safety submissions workflow and submission to regulatory authorities.
- Provide leadership and training to the pharmacovigilance team, ensuring adherence to best practices in safety reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in pharmacovigilance or drug safety
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field
- Team management skills
- Solid experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety, with a focus on clinical trials or post-marketing surveillance
- Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy in safety reporting
