Job title: Supervisor: Party Chief
About the Role The Supervisor: Party Chief performs a range of manual duties on multiple construction projects, providing hands-on supervision and leadership to field crews. This role supports safe, efficient, and quality execution of site work across projects under Ferrovial/Webber.
What You'll Do
- Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
- Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
- Dig, spread and level dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
- Assist equipment operators in positioning machines, verifying grades and signaling dumping positions.
- Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
- Direct laborers in pouring concrete.
- Erect shoring and bracing.
- Assist in installation of pipe.
- Use power tools and air tools.
- Install and maintain erosion control.
- May assist in other operations as designated by the supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Move throughout a construction jobsite with obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report unsafe activities.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Safety awareness and adherence to the company safety policies and manual.
- Education: less than a High School Diploma.
- Experience: three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
- Physical Activity: Heavy physical activity; capable of strenuous day activities.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to perceive attributes of objects/materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions; outdoor exposure to heat/cold and noise.
