About the Role The Supervisor of Warehouse Operations leads demand execution, material readiness, and logistics across a designated region for Entergy Arkansas. They oversee supply chain experts in material planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, project management, and contract management, and establish KPIs and cross-functional processes to continuously improve material movement.
What You'll Do
- Analyze material trends, seasonality, and execute demand plans to ensure material readiness for major projects, aligning purchasing, inventory, labor, and logistics to have the right materials at the right time and location.
- Optimize inventory levels, collaborate with warehouses, procurement, suppliers, and transportation services to ensure cost-efficient fulfillment and timely delivery, while mitigating material risk.
- Lead safety activities as the safety leader for the team, facilitate monthly safety meetings, oversee site safety, required training, and field audits, and improve safety policies.
- Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics and outside suppliers to create integrated processes and meet project commitments; lead cross-functional efforts across the region.
- Manage budget and cost prudency, monitor contract labor and requisitions, and contribute to annual budget development.
- Oversee inventory and warehouse management, capacity planning, cycle counts, ABC analysis, and just-in-time principles to ensure material availability and optimal warehouse layout, including laydown areas.
- Support project management by forecasting materials, tracking consumption via ERP systems, and generating progress reports to support cross-functional projects.
- Travel 25-50% to field sites and corporate offices as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in supply chain and logistics leadership with material planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, project management, and contract management.
- Strong ability to analyze material trends and demand, align purchasing, inventory, labor, and logistics to meet project deadlines, and optimize inventory.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting to track material consumption and project progress.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics, procurement, and suppliers.
- Safety leadership experience and ability to drive safety metrics and compliance.
- Budget management experience, contract labor oversight, and cost control.
- Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% across field and corporate offices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
