Job title: Supervisor Non-Tech Warehousing
About the Role The Supervisor Non-Tech Warehousing is responsible for implementing, controlling and supervising warehouse activities within Materials Management as part of Procurement & Supply Chain Management. This role ensures efficient warehousing operations at the Gauteng Apollo Converter Station to support safe, reliable electricity supply.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities
- Control vehicle and vehicle load optimisation
- Monitor and enforce safety and good housekeeping practices
- Perform administrative duties related to warehousing operations
- Assist with the implementation of procedures and business processes
What We're Looking For
- National Diploma / National N Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Finance / Commerce at NQF 6 with 240 credits
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain operations, materials management
- Knowledge of materials management computer systems and SAP; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of OHSA, SHEQ, safety procedures and regulations, inventory principles, quality control, material classification and logistics management
- Strong communication, planning, organizing, time management and leadership skills
- Behavioral competencies: punctuality, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, professionalism; team player with ability to motivate, coach and mentor
- Awareness of Legal liability and People relations
