Job title: Supervisor: Geotechnical Construction Manager

About the Role Provides management for the construction crew, materials, and equipment to ensure adherence to specifications and that work progresses on schedule. Oversees drill operators and well-control activities to support safe, efficient operations on site.

What You'll Do

• Supervise drill operators and oversee daily checklists to ensure well-control equipment is functional and up to date.
• Set up and operate gun drilling equipment, making necessary corrections to keep production in spec.
• Load reels of fiber optic cable on flex track 150 plow cable six feet deep.
• Use hand tools and power tools to drill holes as required by project needs.
• Manage tools, materials, supplies, and equipment utilization; address production issues on site; accurately report crew hours and code time on daily timesheets.
• Provide leadership, training, development, and performance feedback to crew members; ensure understanding of project plans and blueprints.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance with policies, and proactive problem solving on the job site.

What We're Looking For

• Education: less than High School Diploma; 5+ years’ experience in highway and road construction.
• Knowledge of construction phases (Pipe, Dirt, Structures, Pavement) and ability to read project plans and blueprints.
• Strong safety orientation and ability to comply with company safety policies.
• Certificates/Licenses: Driver’s License, OSHA 10/30, First Aid, CPR.
• Physical requirements: Heavy physical activity; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; manual dexterity.
• Personal attributes: Ability to manage multiple tasks, provide effective leadership, and work well in a team environment.
