About the Role
Avnet is seeking a Supervisor, Distribution Center to oversee DC operations including packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, stock handling, storing, distribution and inventory support. The role ensures high-quality, cost-effective service, optimizes facilities utilization and process execution, and ensures compliance with internal and external regulations. The supervisor provides oversight and direction for assigned staff and manages financial and operational activities. What You'll Do

Manage order fulfillment from stored inventory to meet customer requirements, coordinate shipping within time commitments, and communicate with customers about fulfillment issues.

Manage inventory through periodic and special counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accuracy including returns of defective materials.

Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and processed appropriately.

Plan, develop and/or implement quality assurance procedures; evaluate quality deviations to determine cause, effect, and corrective measures. Survey customers regarding accuracy, quality, efficiency, adherence to specifications and overall customer experience.

Ensure work area is well maintained and in compliance with safety regulations and department policies including ESD requirements.

Ensure equipment is safe, in good repair, functioning appropriately and calibrated to be in full compliance with required military, ISO and other quality standards. Participates in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of new equipment or equipment enhancements. What We're Looking For

Experience supervising distribution center operations and staff; able to provide oversight of inventory, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and related processes.

Demonstrated ability to manage inventory accuracy, documentation, quality assurance procedures, and supplier/customer communication.

Knowledge of safety regulations and ESD requirements; familiarity with ISO/military quality standards; ability to participate in equipment evaluation and improvements.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
