Job title: Supervisor - Central Sterile Processing

About the Role The Supervisor - Central Sterile Processing leads the CSP department at Eisenhower Health, ensuring compliance with current best practices and policies. The position also performs Central Sterile Processing Technician duties as needed and works under indirect remote periodic supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the Central Sterile Processing department, including practice standards and overall department activity.
  • Assist leadership with budgets, fiscal management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare staffing schedules and ensure staff assignments align with workload requirements.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure staff vacations are approved in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Monitor employee productivity and quality of output.
  • Supervise all assigned Sterile Processing Technicians.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Required: High school diploma or GED; Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Required: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER); CHL from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within two years of hire; For employees hired before December 1, 2025 must obtain CER by December 1, 2026 and CHL by December 1, 2027.
  • Experience: Required: Three years of sterile processing technician experience.
  • Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected situations; Ability to communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff to ensure clear and accurate exchange of information; Ability to delegate tasks effectively and optimize team productivity; Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations in a calm and professional manner; Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently; Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software; Knowledge of AAMI Standards; Outpatient Clinic processing and workflow; Self-starter.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $27.75 - $42.15 per hour
