Job title: Supervisor (5-ploegen) – PPG Tiel
About the Role The Supervisor leads a cohesive team of roughly 10 employees in a 5-shift environment at the PPG Tiel site, ensuring safe, smooth and efficient production processes. You will be visible on the shop floor, coach your team, and drive people to action.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coach a team of around 10 employees in a 5-shift operation.
- Drive process optimization and performance; actively contribute to continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies.
- Identify and address bottlenecks; safeguard safety, quality and productivity.
- Serve as the bridge between shop floor operations and management.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a supervisor or team leader in manufacturing or logistics (hard requirement).
- Minimum HBO level, or MBO4 with VAPRO B/C/D; willingness to obtain VAPRO B via employer is acceptable.
- Strong leadership, motivation and people development skills.
- Interest in LEAN and continuous improvement.
- VAPRO B/C/D diploma, or willingness to obtain VAPRO B through employer.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in chemistry is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
