About the Role EY GDS Poland seeks a Supervising Associate in Finance – Business Analysis to partner with senior finance and business leaders, delivering financial analysis, reporting and supporting the annual planning processes. You will build trusted relationships, provide analytical expertise and help implement innovative reporting solutions. What You'll Do
- Take part in and lead planning/forecasting processes, ensuring timely completion and alignment to regional/global objectives.
- Deliver reliable reporting and analytics; support planning cycles and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with data scientists and data engineers to co-create data-driven solutions for business problems.
- Conduct or support ad-hoc data-driven analyses using diverse data sources to identify trends and insights.
- Deliver monthly performance reviews with insights, financial analysis and commentary.
- Respond to ad-hoc financial questions from Finance and senior leadership to support decision making.
- Design and deliver ad hoc financial analyses.
- Model projections/forward-looking views and identify trends and issues to be analyzed. What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in finance/business analysis with at least 3 years of supervisory, analytical, forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject (e.g., Accounting, Finance).
- Strong English (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong FP&A background with corporate financial management experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and a track record of delivering effective solutions independently.
- Team-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and propose new approaches while building consensus.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present and advise clients.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Advanced Excel and data visualization/presentation tools; experience with data automation.
- Experience navigating and interpreting complex data sets and building analytical models.
- Ability to model projections and forward-looking views. Nice to Have
