Description
- The Supermarket Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, driving sales and profitability, managing staff, maintaining effective inventory control, ensuring excellent customer service, and enforcing company policies and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily branch operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of branch performance targets.
- Supervise staff, monitor performance, and enforce discipline.
- Monitor inventory, stock replenishment, product expiry, and stock losses.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, store cleanliness, and product merchandising.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and management directives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in the same role within retail supermarket operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, sales monitoring, cash control, and customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS and inventory management systems.
- High integrity, accountability, organisational skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
