About the Role The Planet Group is seeking a Superintendent I for our Energy Storage Group. This role leads site coordination and supervision on large, complex projects with significant travel while driving safety, schedule adherence, and professional collaboration across teams.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate project site work activities and supervise on-site teams for multiple construction projects or large, complex endeavors.
- Plan and implement materials, equipment, and inspections to support the project schedule.
- Liaise with project staff and stakeholders, maintain the project schedule, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Proactively identify issues, develop viable solutions, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a dynamic environment.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or 10 years of related trade experience.
- Minimum eight years of construction experience with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with large utility projects; Utilities and Energy Storage industry experience preferred.
- Inverter and DC battery technology experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices; intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
Nice to Have
- Energy Storage project experience; familiarity with energy storage systems, design, and integration is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $111,000 – $168,000 yearly (plus bonuses).
