Position Summary
An advanced and versatile position within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the "super floater," also known as a floating behavior technician. This role is essential for maintaining continuity of care across various home and clinic settings by providing immediate coverage when therapists are absent. Additionally, these professionals offer critical support for cases involving high-risk behaviors and facilitate necessary breaks for frontline staff.
Core Responsibilities of the Super Floater
- Immediate Coverage and Continuity of Care: Step in for planned or last-minute staff absences (call-outs) to execute 1:1 therapy and individualized behavior programs without disrupting the client's routine.
