About the Role Lead and support a variety of youth hockey clinics and camps hosted by River City Sportplex during the summer season. The role focuses on delivering safe, high-energy instruction to players ages 8-18, coordinating activities, and ensuring a positive participant experience. What You'll Do
- Deliver age-appropriate hockey instruction across camps such as Goaltending, Defense, Power Skating, Boot Camp, and general Team Play sessions.
- Coordinate daily camp activities, supervise participants, manage equipment, and ensure safety protocols.
- Assist with participant registration, communicate schedules, and liaison with coaching staff and families.
- Support event setup, hydration, and basic first aid as needed. What We're Looking For
- Prior experience coaching or leading youth hockey programs; knowledge of goaltending, defense, skating, and camp formats.
- Ability to work with multiple age groups (8U-18U) and a flexible summer schedule.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and safety-minded approach.
- Availability during scheduled sessions (dates vary, see listing). Nice to Have
