About the Role Join the next generation of exceptional lawyers as a summer associate at Choate. This program provides intensive training from day one and substantive, individualized opportunities to work on matters that matter, with the goal of earning a full-time offer after graduation.
What You'll Do
- Work on diligence, disclosure schedules, and other matters depending on capabilities within your designated department.
- Contribute to case and deal teams on substantive projects for clients, including legal and factual research, memo writing, briefs, drafting pleadings, and drafting estate planning documents; participate in investigations, discovery, and diligence projects.
- Receive mentorship from three assigned mentors (partner, mid-level associate, and junior associate) and engage in cross-practice exposure to gain a full picture of life at a major law firm.
- Participate in community and pro bono work as part of Choate's core mission and take part in networking and social events throughout the summer.
