POSITION DETAILS The NYSOP Academic Advisor at Kingsborough Community College will report to the Director or his/her Designee. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide outreach to students ages 25-55 as per the NYSOP and CUNY criteria Coordinate with the Division of Enrollment Management to onboard NYSOP eligible students Link NYSOP students to campus resources in a coordinated manner ensure retention and persistence -Utilize student success platforms such as Navigate and TRex to support students and advise them of transfer and employment opportunities -This position is subject to an availability of funding The Substitute Assistant to the Higher Education Officer (aHEO) for the New York State Opportunity Promise (NYSOP) will serve a six-month position that plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with state…
