Job Description
Job Description: Summary:
Candidate will Support Substation Engineering with regards to managing the relay protection panel fabrication order process. These panels are an essential component to managing a safe reliable grid by having the capacity to interrupt short circuit fault currents.
Job Responsibilities

Assign relay panel fabrication order to pre-approved vendors based on vendor capacity

Coordinate delivery of ownered supplied equipment to vendor

Visit vendor's facility and assess quality control & vendor's resources to determine any potential impact to delivery dates

Communicate to internal stakeholders relay panel fabrication status in order to meet planned outage dates

Update spreadsheet/database on current panel fabrication orders with their expected completion dates

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution (Engineering, Construction, Operation, PMO and Procurement).

Identify and troubleshoot material availability issues, proposing effective solutions.
Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Financial budgeting experience / materials reporting

Ability to interpret technical drawings & specifications.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Should have Project Management Skills
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required.

2-4 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management
