About the Role
Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide services to active-duty members and their dependents at Navy Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California. This is an exempt, full-time position focused on delivering clinical counseling and treatment within the continuum of care.
What You'll Do

Perform a full range of Certified Addiction Counselor duties, including medical care, treatment, and patient education, in a knowledgeable, skilled, and consistent manner.

Obtain or provide information to facilitate treatment and assist in program development.

Provide assessment of substance abuse and addiction.

Identify and document medical consequences of alcohol and other substance use, including withdrawal and detoxification.

Facilitate placement and management of patients in appropriate levels of care within the continuum of care model for addictive disorders.

What We're Looking For

Graduate from a behavioral science program with specialized training in substance abuse and chemical dependency treatment.

CADCII certification.

At least 2 years within the preceding 4 years as a Substance Abuse Counselor in a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program that serves male and female clients.

Maintain a national certification credential by NAADAC, NBCC, or ICRC/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $70,000 - $72,828 per year (exempt).
