SUBSEA WORKSITE SUPERVISOR
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Responsible for HSEQ activities and control of resources at the worksite.
Ensure incidents and accidents are investigated and reported to company line management.
Coordinate regular engineering, operational planning, performance and safety meetings.
Report work output metrics, performance measures, anomalies, and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the worksite.
Manage the maintenance team, including planners, engineers, floor supervisors and workshop engineers.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of subsea equipment.
Communicate with company superintendents, engineers and service heads to ensure equipment is prepared correctly and on schedule.
Control and approve maintenance programmes and activities.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure worksite output.
Execute contracts to ensure service and contractor performance, contributing to Service Quality Meetings (SQM).
Audit contractor quality systems and internal processes to ensure compliance with quality plans and best practices.
Manage inventory and stock control, providing regular reports to company management.
Ensure contractor compliance with company policies, processes and material management strategies.
Estimate job durations and costs.
Recommend the most efficient methods for staging and carrying out maintenance activities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent technical qualification.
More than 10 years’ experience in subsea equipment manufacturing or maintenance engineering.
Strong project management skills with experience coordinating maintenance activities and planning around rig schedules and future projects.
Extensive knowledge of: Wellheads, Tubing Hangers, Christmas Trees (Xmas Trees), Subsea Test Trees (SSTT), Subsea intervention equipment.
Experience working for both subsea service contractors and operators.
Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and auditing practices.
Strong problem diagnosis and Root Cause Analysis skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), particularly SAP.
BOSIET/HUET certification required.
