Responsibilities
- Design subgrade structures for roads, railways, and infrastructure projects, ensuring stability and safety.
- Perform soil analysis, geotechnical evaluations, and load assessments to guide design decisions.
- Develop detailed drawings and models, specifying materials and construction methods for subgrade systems.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Ensure all subgrade designs comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering, with 2-3 years of experience in subgrade design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and geotechnical analysis tools such as PLAXIS or GeoStudio.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, material properties, and subgrade construction methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in designing stable and durable subgrade systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams under tight project timelines.
- Communication skills, with experience preparing technical reports and design presentations
