About the Role Regent University Library is seeking a Student Worker to support Access Services in a faith-based academic environment. This part-time role involves assisting patrons, handling circulation, and helping with research needs while upholding the university's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity.
What You'll Do
- Check library materials in and out to patrons
- Answer general informational questions about the library and assist in research needs
- Re-shelve items and shelf read
- Report directly to the Access Services Supervisors
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer services skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
- Availability to work evening and weekend hours
- Physical stamina to stand extended periods, push loaded carts, shelve heavy books, and lift up to 25 pounds
