Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students throughout their learning journey.
- Monitor student attendance, participation, engagement, and academic progress.
- Identify students who may be at risk of dropping out and provide appropriate support.
- Conduct student check-ins, orientation sessions, surveys, and feedback activities.
- Respond to student questions, concerns, and support requests.
- Coordinate with instructors and program teams to resolve student challenges.
- Support students with study planning, learning resources, and general academic guidance.
- Organize student engagement activities, communities, mentoring sessions, and career-related initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records and document interventions.
- Monitor completion and graduation rates and recommend strategies to improve retention.
- Collect and analyze student feedback to improve the learning experience.
- Support alumni engagement and post-program follow-up.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in student support, customer success, education, community management, or a related role.
- Must reside within Gbagada and its environs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with student management systems and learning platforms.
