About the Role The CSP Intramural Referee position focuses on the safe management of intramural gameplay, including in-play calling, penalty enforcement, timekeeping, scoring, and leadership when needed. The role may also support intramurals in setup, promotion, marketing, and event management, with a primary emphasis on player safety and crisis response training.
What You'll Do
- Handle in-game penalties, fouls, and overall game management.
- Manage clock, scoring, and explain rules to participants.
- Enforce rules and policies with verbal and written warnings.
- Promote safe gameplay and proactively help prevent injuries.
- Demonstrate clear decision making through calls, communication, and teamwork.
- Serve in one of the roles: main ref, side ref, score keeper, or logistics manager.
