Job title: Student Honor Committee Coordinator
About the Role
This role actively works with the Student Honor Committee and the Faculty Honor Committee to identify educational efforts that promote understanding of the Honor System and academic integrity. It also serves as an active member of the Student Honor Committee Executive Committee and advises on Orientation education efforts. The position involves designing educational resources and coordinating training with other coordinators.
What You'll Do
- Consult with the AARC regarding honor code education.
- Communicate with the Faculty Honor Committee regarding educational opportunities for faculty and prepare memos focusing on academic integrity trends.
- Meet with students who have non-case-specific questions regarding the Honor System.
- Design educational resources for the campus regarding academic integrity, ethics with artificial intelligence, and the Honor System process.
- Attend weekly meetings with the other Student Honor Committee coordinators (membership and education) and the Honor System Liaison.
- Design and facilitate training each semester in collaboration with the Education Coordinator and Hearing Coordinator.
What We're Looking For
- Active member of the Student Honor Committee.
- Actively enrolled student at Oberlin College.
Nice to Have
- Interest in academic integrity, ethics with artificial intelligence, and education outreach; experience designing educational resources for campus audiences is a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $13.00 per hour, or commensurate with experience.
