Job title: Student Ambassador - Art Department
About the Role The Art Department is seeking 2nd & 3rd year Studio Art majors to represent the department as student ambassadors. The role involves interacting with prospective students and their parents and supporting admissions-related activities.
What You'll Do
- Provide guided tours of the art facilities
- Communicate independently with prospective students and provide progress updates
- Work with Admissions to accommodate campus visitors
- Attend department events as a student representative
- Create video content
- Participate in Zoom sessions with prospectives
- Attend department open houses
- Coordinate Zoom, chat, and tour sessions for All Roads lead to Oberlin, and other projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- 2nd & 3rd year Studio Art majors are eligible and encouraged to apply
- Good public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliability
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Participation in the Art Students Committee is encouraged
Compensation & Benefits
- $14 per hour
