About this role
About the Role Aernnova is strengthening its team of STRUCTURAL STRESS ENGINEERS to participate in the design and certification of aerostructures as part of the product development team. The role involves solving complex technical problems, ensuring manufacturability, and coordinating with internal teams and external customers across multiple locations.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the design of primary and secondary aircraft structures as part of the product development team.
- Develop solutions to complex technical problems.
- Work in accordance with company processes, procedures, and work instructions; make suggestions for improvements.
- Work under the guidance of more senior engineers, solving programmatic and technical issues that affect cost, schedule, and performance.
- Interact and/or coordinate the Product Integration Team, to ensure the manufacturability and assembly of the developed product.
- Interact with external and internal customers and suppliers.
- Verifies all design and drafting standards are met, checks for interaction of design with adjacent structures and/or systems.
What We're Looking For
- BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience designing aircraft metallic and/or composite structures starting at a conceptual level.
- Basic knowledge of aircraft structures, design of composite and metallic parts and assemblies, stress, and manufacturing processes.
- Candidates must have a global outlook, willingness to travel, ethics/honesty and be achievement-oriented.
- Experience with CAD software packages: CATIA V5 (preferred) or UG NX. Knowledge for CPD modules will be also appreciated.
- Experience with PDM software.
- Experience with following MS Office packages: MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
