Structural Designer
Responsibilities
- Design structural frameworks and systems for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
- Conduct structural analysis, load calculations, and material assessments for stability.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications that comply with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with architects and construction teams to integrate structural solutions.
- Review construction progress to ensure adherence to structural designs and resolve issues.
- Ensure designs meet local codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of experience in structural design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD). Strong understanding of structural principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to perform complex structural calculations and analysis with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with design teams
