About the Role The role focuses on managing all purchased parts for customer projects with regard to costs, quality and deadlines. It also supports special project sourcing strategies for high-dollar, critical components with long-term, preferred suppliers, and conducts cost and value analysis in collaboration with other departments. What You'll Do
- Responsible for all purchased parts that apply to a customer project regarding costs, quality and deadlines.
- Support special project sourcing strategies that are a part of new high-dollar, critical components with long-term, preferred suppliers.
- Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market.
- Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams.
- Investigation of potentials for substitutions. What We're Looking For
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management.
- Ability to ensure cost and quality control for customer projects.
- Experience with strategic sourcing for high-dollar, long-term components and preferred suppliers.
- Ability to perform cost and value analysis with cross-functional teams.
- Capable of identifying substitution potentials and supplier options.
