About the Role This is a leadership role responsible for the global strategy of technology platforms including semiconductor and LED components used across lighting electronics, drivers, and connected platforms. The role drives cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and innovation enablement, ensures secure access to critical technologies, and aligns R&D roadmaps with manufacturing needs and supplier ecosystems while managing geopolitical, capacity, and lifecycle risks.
What You'll Do
- Platform-level sourcing strategies aligned with product and technology roadmaps
- Executive-level supplier and ecosystem management across hardware and software
- Advanced commercial models covering silicon pricing, software licensing, and long-term supply
- Proactive risk and resilience management in geopolitically exposed supply chains
- Total cost of ownership and lifecycle value optimization
- Advanced negotiation skills
What We're Looking For
- 8–12+ years of experience in semiconductors and/or software platforms, combining strong technical literacy with commercial and strategic capability
- Deep understanding of semiconductor value chains, software licensing models, and platform economics
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at senior and executive level
- Experience in contract law, IP & licensing structures
- Understanding and pro-actively manage risk & resilience planning in high tech and platform ecosystems
- Proven ability to bridge engineering, business, and suppliers in complex technology environments
