About the Role
House of Pope Limited is seeking a proactive, highly organized and execution-focused Strategic Projects & Opportunities Coordinator to work closely with the Executive Director across the school, multiple businesses, projects and strategic initiatives. The role involves identifying opportunities, developing them, coordinating projects and ensuring initiatives move from idea to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- • Research and identify grants, partnerships, sponsorships, programmes, tenders, collaborations, competitions, funding opportunities and strategic projects.
- • Maintain an active pipeline of projects and opportunities.
- • Draft proposals, concept notes, grant applications, partnership proposals, presentations and project documents.
- • Develop ideas into structured proposals and executable projects.
- • Coordinate projects from beginning to completion, including plans, timelines, action items and deliverables.
- • Track project progress and provide regular updates.
- • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders on deadlines and deliverables.
- • Identify project delays, risks and blockers and escalate issues requiring executive intervention.
- • Research new programmes, technologies, services and ideas that could improve the school or other businesses.
- • Support the Executive Director in developing strategic initiatives and turning ideas into executable projects.
- • Use Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, AI tools and digital productivity tools for research, documentation and project coordination.
- • Identify better ways to track opportunities, manage projects and improve recurring workflows.
Requirements
- • Experience in project coordination, project management, grants and proposal writing, business development, partnerships, research, consulting, education, technology, media or film, development-sector projects, or startup/founder-led environments is useful.
